We have a 2022 Fiat Ducato based motorhome with the superb 9 speed automatic gearbox. I have found one anomaly, and wonder if anyone else has found the same. Stopped at for example traffic lights, gearbox in Drive with the annoying start/stop function disengaged, and foot on footbrake, the gearbox drops into a sort of neutral. With a drill, make two small holes, one at each end of the crack; this will make it impossible to spread. Using sealant (or, if you don’t have any handy, silicone for outdoor use), cover both the crack and the two holes well, applying it in such a way that it sticks closely to the wall, to achieve a maximum sealing effect. I'd the same problem 3 times with my 2017 2.3l Ducato. Turning the engine off, then on again, cleared the message. Apparently the computer was holding the code that referred to the brake sensor.Well it isn't, and so once more I am treading the well-worn path to Customer Services, just to see what they might offer. If I have this unit replaced again, it will be the 5th cluster fitted to a vehicle that is only 4 years old. This must surely constitute some sort of record for poor quality control or design failure.4mxkf3.
