My problem is with the engine speed not always dropping to tickover,but only dropping to approx 1000rpm.It doesn't seem to do it when car is stationary,but when engine braking or slowing down and changing down a gear.All of a sudden she seems to lurch forward rather than slowing down.Now I'm 2008 JAGUAR X-TYPE SOVEREIGN ESTATE 2.2 - 85013 miles - RESERVED! £3,995.00. Need some help i have a x type diesel 2.0 on a 53 plate the problem is it wont start it cranks over fine but wont fire,Have had codes read and the fault is reading low fuel pressure i have changed the filter and cam shaft sensor both with quality parts but no change .I have fitted a manual pump
