Church of St Nicholas. Built in the first half of the 1700s, the Church of St Nicholas is considered to be one of the best examples of baroque architecture in Prague. It’s a large building and you get a sense of its scale when you go inside, with lofty ceilings.
Busy Square. Any visit to Prague is not complete without visiting this square at the heart of the city. The main attraction is the astronomical clock. If you want to see the astronomical clock in action, make sure to claim a spot 10-15 minutes before the top of the hour as there were large crowds every hour even on a chilly November weekday.

Prague Castle & St Vitus Cathedral. The beautiful St Vitus Cathedral. It is very easy to spend all afternoon walking around Prague Castle and it is packed full of things to do. The main attraction here is St Vitus Cathedral, a gorgeous Gothic cathedral that is even more spectacular on the inside than on the outside.
Prague more than compensates, though, with its sheer, medieval fairy-tale feel. Prague Castle really is right out of a storybook. Outside the immediate centre, the city is surprisingly green, and the Vltava River and many parks and gardens offer a nearby, family-friendly respite.
